Collects, decontaminates, packages, sterilizes and dispenses instruments, supplies and other equipment as necessary.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Ability to read and communicate in the English language. High school graduate or equivalent. Central Service certification required within 1 year of employment. Familiarity with principles of sterile techniques and infection control, strong knowledge of surgical instruments and related patient care equipment and supplies and ability to understand equipment and supplies.
